CONTROL INVESTIGATION OF DRUG POSITIVES BLOOD SAMPLES
NACHUNTERSUCHUNGEN VON MEDIKAMENTPOSITIVEN BLUTPROBEN
Eighty-three blood samples which were investigated for the purpose of clinical toxicological questions were again examined after a 6 month storage at 4 deg C. The samples were also not homogenized for the second investigation. The results are essentially influenced by the intravital distribution of the substances in the whole blood. Relevantly decomposed were especially thiopental, methylaminophenazone, phenazone and in one case bromazepam. A separate storage of blood conglomerate and plasma after determination of alcohol is necessary if results which can be used for interpretation are to be achieved after a storage of several months.
