SCREENING OF ALCOHOL CONCENTRTION IN SALIVA
ZUR SCHNELBESTIMMUNG DER ALKOHOLKONZENTRATION IN SPEICHEL. VERWENDUNGSMOGLICHKEIT ALS SOGENANNTER VORTEST?
Five test subjects took whisky ad libitum. With the Alcomat the breath-alcohol-concentration was tested during drinking phase as well as during the ellimination-phase. Corresponding to estimated concentrations of breath-alcohol at 0.2; 0.5; 1.0; 1.5 and 2.0 promile blood-test were taken. Simulataneously saliva alcohol concentration was tested by Absa-Stick. Observing the usual precautions we found a good correspondence between blood- and saliva-alcohol-concentrations up to the level of 1.0 promile. If concentration goes, up inaccurate results were observed.
