ALL ABOARD AT ALLIED JUNCTION!
Detailed is New Jersey's proposed "Allied Junction" which will see the joining of public and private resources to improve transportation in northern New Jersey. The project will include a rail transfer station, a new New Jersey Turnpike interchange, other local road improvements, as well as having a multiuse commercial development consisting of office space, retail space, hotel and conference center and a parking garage. This "Junction" is projected to save commuters substantial traveling time as it will have connections to the New Jersey Turnpike, a number of New Jersey Transit commuter rail lines, and AMTRAK's Northeast Corridor line.
