Of 767 accident cases studied, of which 627 were chosen for closer investigation, the accidents rarely took place in big cities, mostly taking place outside the towns. What usually took place was a collision at a crossroad or junction when drivers came to it from different directions. Accidents usually took place in daylight under the condition of dry weather at low speed during the summer months. The accidents very rarely had serious consequences. The age groups were 21-30 and 31-40. (TRRL)
