A MULTI-EXPERT SYSTEM FOR PAVEMENT DIAGNOSIS AND REHABILITATION
A multi-expert system (ERASME) for pavement defect diagnosis and rehabilitation is presented. The expertise is structured into knowledge modules called specialists which cooperate under the authority of a supervisor. The aim of the architecture is to be a modular knowledge-based system in order to integrate about 20 specialties. The system performs nonmonotonic reasoning by means of suspicions.
