A BLUEPRINT FOR THE RED ROUTES
The UK's Department of Transport, in its recent "Traffic in London" report, proposed a network of priority roads through London which it hopes to keep clear of illegal parking during the rush hours. This article reports an interview of Chief Superintendent Peter Wiglesworth by Geoffrey Mayhew, in which Chief Wiglesworth describes some of the enforcement issues being considered and how the quality of the traffic warden service is being improved.
