55-M.P.H. LIMIT IS AMONG FOUR TOPICS OF EMPHASIS AT TRAFFIC SESSIONS

What should be done about the 55 mph speed limit will be one of four key topics addressed during the Highway Traffic Safety Division sessions of the 74th National Safety Council Congress and Exposition, October 19-23, in Chicago's McCormick Place Exposition Center. The other three topics, considered among the most important facing the nation in traffic safety today, are the problems associated with the elderly driver, truck safety, and construction zone safety. This article indicates which sessions will feature these topics and who some of the speakers will be.
