MOVING BLOCK SYSTEM WTIH CONTINUOUS TRAIN DETECTION UTILIZING TRAIN SHUNTING IMPEDANCE OF TRACK CIRCUIT
Moving block system, which is able to shorten train interval, gives a large merit of reducing the train headway. To shorten train interval, it is necessary to detect train positions continuously. We describe a method of continuous train detection utilizing the train shunting impedance of track circuit, and the error in train detection which is likely to happen when using this method. We also describe the moving block system utilizing this method.
