1984 MASEP ANNUAL REPORT: SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF MASEP PARTICIPANTS
The Mississippi Alcohol Safety Educationn Program (MASEP) is the statewide driver improvement program for first-time offenders convicted of driving while under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or another substance which has impaired the person's ability to operate a motor vehicle (Section 63-11-32 of the Mississippi Implied Consent Law). This report is the second in a series of annual reports describing MASEP and the socio-demographic characteristics of those who attend MASEP classes. This report focuses on responses to questionnaires administered to those who attended in 1984. Also included are results from a more extensive questionnaire that was administered in the last three classes of 1984.
