LITERATURE REVIEW: THE IMPACT OF TRANSPORT INVESTMENT PROJECTS UPON THE INNER CITY
This report assesses current knowledge about the effects of different types of transport investment on the local economy of the inner city. It reviews both the technical studies and studies of the perceptions of inner city residents and firms as to the types of transport which were most beneficial. The study is composed of a literature review of published reports and consultancy documents, detailed abstracts of the most important items, general and classified bibliographies of the existing literature, a detailed case history bibliography of a particular inner city site (London docklands), and recomendations for further research.
