FALSEWORK. A HANDBOOK OF DESIGN AND PRACTICE
This practical handbook of design and practice contains information on the design of falsework and is a guide for checking falsework systems. It also provides a quick means of reference on loadings, material properties, section and fixing data and simple analysis techniques appropriate for use in the determination of forces, stresses, and deflections of falsework systems. This is one of the first books to apply the code of practice on falsework, to contain safe load graphs for timber based on new allowable stress, and to include both formwork and centering. A guide to falsework materials is also provided. One complete chapter is devoted to bridge falsework design. (TRRL)
