WOMEN ALCOHOL DRUGS AND TRAFFIC. PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL WORKSOHP SEPTEMBER 29-30, 1988, STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
The trends towards higher blood alcohol in female DWI-offenders provoked the question whether chronic alcoholics play an increasing role in DWI-delinquency. The paper discusses some items which possibly indicate alcoholism. Those are: BAC above 2.5 g/l, high BAC during daytime, discrepancy between BAC and estimated degree of drunkeness, and high blood-methanol levels.
