RHEOLOGICAL PECULIARITY OF CLAYEY SOILS DEFORMATION UNDER SWELLING ---INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RHEOLOGY AND SOIL MECHANICS, 12-16 SEPTEMBER 1988, COVENTRY, UK
The results of the experimental studies of the mechanism of the rheological process in swelling clayey soils have been presented in this paper. On the bases of these results it has been determined that the deformation of clayey swelling is a rheological process: the mechanism of the said process can be interpreted with sufficient accuracy from the point of view of practical application, in terms of the linear hereditary creep of boltzmann-volterr.(a) for the covering abstract of this conference see IRRD 818664.
