L'UTILISATION DE LA MICRO-INFORMATIQUE PAR UN MAITRE D'OEUVRE ROUTIER. L'EXEMPLE DU PROGRAMME ECOROUTE
A highway construction consultant has to cope, as any consultant, with the choice of a data processing equipment. This paper aims at raising the relevant questions at each stage of the design process and to show the solutions brought by transroute group with microcomputers. At design level, the main fields liable to be dealt with a microcomputer are: preliminary design, earthworks quantities, geotechnics, hydraulics, bridges and pavement design. As far as management is concerned, the sigma system is presented with a special stress on tender examination, contract management and quantity surveying programmes. The use of microcomputer for pavement management systems is shown through two programs (evastrat and frog). In the end the example of ecoway (pavement design program) is developed in more detail.(a) for the covering abstract of the proceedings see IRRD 817883.
