RAIL PROFILE MEASURING SYSTEM AIDS IN MAINTENANCE PLANNING

The Liteslice rail profile measuring system developed by Tamper has proven that it can be invaluable in maintenance operations. The system can provide transverse rail head profiles at a rate of five per second and generate a print out and a magnetic tape with rail profile data.
