ACTIVE OPTIMAL CONTROL OF STRUCTURE USING OPTIMAL OBSERVER
The paper introduces digital optimal feedback control by combining digital optimal control based on modal technique with the minimal state observer. This scheme for the optimal control of civil engineering structures, increases the reliability and robustness of the control system. In the proposed scheme, stable control is achieved very quickly in an asymptomatic manner. Examples are described and the conclusions drawn are discussed.
