AASHTO PUBLISHES SURVEY ON SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY

The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) has recently published "Survey on the Status of Sovereign Immunity in the States." The survey and its reported findings were prepared by the AASHTO Administrative Subcommittee on Legal Affairs. The survey, circulated in 1988, drew responses from 45 states. Its findings are briefly summarized in this article.
