HIGH SPEED NETWORK UNITES EUROPE
High speed trains have revitalized intercity rail travel. The first 300 km/h trains will begin revenue service in France later this month and various links will shorten the traveling time between European cities. The major challenge now is to recapture the freight business from the highways.
