BOND BETWEEN POLYPROPYLENE FIBRES AND CEMENT MATRIX
The bond between a cementitious matrix and fibrillated and non-fibrillated polypropylene meshes has been investigated. Single tapes, multiple tapes and the tapes as part of the mesh have all been tested. It is concluded that for woven meshes, fibrillation is unnecessary and both bond performances can be increased by surface treatment of the tape.(a)
