RESIDUAL STRESSES IN LAMINATED WOOD BEAMS
NAPONI U DRVENIM LAMELIRANIM NOSACIMA ZAOSTALI OD PROIZVODNJE NOSACA
The article analyzes the residual stresses which occurred during the manufacture of laminated wood beams, using personal and mainframe computers. The spring back tendency and the stresses in curved beams are regulated by standards, but the difference in moisture content among layers could introduce significant residual stresses.
