LASCAR: SOFTWARE WHICH FOLLOWS UP URBAN ROAD WORKS' COSTS

This is a description of LASCAR which uses commercial software, and aids in the understanding and shaping of costs for urban roads; presents the state of roadway capital; characterizes the redevelopments and the expenses to evaluate policy; and anticipates future expenses for an annual follow up. The structure of the LASCAR system is described. The entry of data and the use of the system to analyze costs, and produce balance sheets and summaries is described. LASCAR is a management tool designed to aid in decision making.
