COUNTIES USE C.H.R.I.S. TO GOOD ADVANTAGE
One county highway software package is so popular that it ranked first or second overall in three categories of this year's Better Roads' computer use survey. The package is C.H.R.I.S., which is now multi-user with the SCO Xenix Version 5.0 operating system on 386 micro-technology. This article gives examples of its use in Boulder County, Colorado, and Tulsa County, Oklahoma. The latest version of the package includes an optional fuel system interface. The new version also keeps track of back orders.
