Sandstone rock material properties such as density, porosity, sonic velocity, permeability, together with the particles displacement and deformation at different stages of normal loading were studied. Bulk and pore compressibility changes were also determined. It was noticed that sandstone taken from different sites has shown different behaviour under normal applied load.
