EMPIRICAL METHOD OF CALCULATING THE TURBULENT BOUNDARY IN AN INCOMPRESSIBLE LIQUID

The investigated paper proposes a single-parametric method of calculating the turbulent boundary layer which is based on systematic processing of the existing experimental data. The law of similarity of the characteristic variables is established for turbulent and laminar boundary layers. The relations of the characteristic variables are presented in the form of graphs and approximating formulas.
