FAILURE OF ROCK SLOPE AT POWRIE BRAE, DUNDEE
This note describes the failure during construction of a site slope to a roadway cutting. The failure took place along a bedding plane inclined at 13 degrees to the horizontal and involved an estimated 20000 cubic metres of glacial till and bedrock. A brief description of the remedial works is also presented. For the covering abstract of the symposium see IRRD 286604. (Author/TRRL)
