DEVELOPMENT OF A DREDGING PUMP WORKING MODEL OF VARIOUS IMPELLER WIDTHS

The impeller width of a centrifugal dredging pump model has been reduced on the back shroud side. In this way two families of pumps with varying working characteristics have been obtained. The results of the investigation and various methods for recalculation of working characteristics of dredging pumps when changing the impeller width at the exit are analyzed in this paper.
