APPLICATION OF ELECTORNIC CONTROL TO JNR DIESEL ROLLING STOCK. PRESENT STATE AND FUTURE PROSPECTS
Current JNR Diesel locomotives and cars are equipped with fuel injection pumps, torque convertors, reversing gears and so on, performing complex controls. These components are built up with precision parts, and wear in these parts inevitably tends to bring about the decline in their performance. To cope with the above situation, JNR has drawn up a project to introduce electronics into the control of these components.
