HEAT-INDUCED FORCE IN WELDED POINTS AND CROSSINGS INCORPORATED INTO CONTINUOUS WELDED RAILS. PART TWO: MEASUREMENT OF THE FORCE AND OVERALL RESULTS
EFFORTS D'ORIGINE THERMIQUE DANS LES APPAREILS DE VOIE SOUDES ET INCORPORES DANS LES LONGS RAILS SOUDES. 2E PARTIE: MESURE DES EFFORTS ET RESULTATS D'ENSEMBLE
In the first part of the article the authors demonstrate how a model of the behaviour of a crossing incorporated into continuous welded rails can be developed from theoretical considerations. In the second part they show how experimental measurements taken on several types of switch gear support the information obtained from the mathematical model and the relative influence of various parameters.
