THE INCREMENTAL LAUNCHING METHOD IN BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION
The Incremental Launching Method (Taktschiebeverfahren) is described in general with a historic review. Low investment cost in necessary equipment and safe, proper working conditions as well as design aspects contribute to the success of the method. The wide range of possible applications is shown with the description of two selected projects.
