VACATIONING ON SOMEBODY ELSE'S WHEELS

This article provides some safety tips for the driver who is planning a rent-a-car vacation. The tips cover everything from knowing what your own insurance coverage is before purchasing unnecessary rental car insurance to becoming familiar with the rental car by checking it as carefully as you would a vehicle you are buying and by reading the vehicle's owner's manual. Other safety tips are planning for rest stops and driving at a steady 55 mph pace which will produce the best fuel economy and help you arrive on time and safely.
