IMPLEMENTATION OF FINITE ELEMENT BOUNDARY INTEGRAL LINKAGE ALGORITHMS FOR ROCK MECHANICS APPLICATIONS
Methods of linking boundary integral solutions with finite element solutions have been fully described theoretically in the literature. The purpose of this paper is to point out some practical aspects of implementing these linkage algorithms for rock mechanics applications and to describe an alternative linkage algorithm. For the covering abstract of the symposium see IRRD 284392. (TRRL)
