NEW TWO-PLY SECURIFLEX ANTI-LACERATIVE WINDSHIELD INTRODUCED
This article describes the Securiflex-2, a new version of the Securiflex anti-lacerative windshield, which prevents facial laceration, eye injury, and passenger ejection as effectively as the original product, but features improved construction and other advantages. The Securiflex-2 has a two-ply glass/polyurethane construction with a 3 mm glass layer and a 0.8 mm inner layer of Securex polyurethane. This construction provides a thinner, lighter windshield than the original. Other advantages include lower price, better optics, and a clear plastic sticker carrier with pressure-sensitive adhesion.
