THE CHOPPER CONTROL TESTING SYSTEM AND CHOPPER EQUIPMENT WITH REVERSE CONDUCTING THYRISTOR FOR BEIJING UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC CARS

This paper describes in detail the research process of chapper control system for Beijing testing 1200kw electric cars. The performance and the principal parameters of chopper control equipment are given. Consideration is attended to the working conditions of chopper with reverse conducting thyristors. Concrete methods for discouraging commutating dynamical conditions are also presented.
