THE FUTURE USE OF STRUCTURAL ADHESIVES IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF BRITISH RAIL ROLLING-STOCK

The development work on structural adhesives being conducted within the British Rail Research and Development Division is described. Three widely differing areas under investigation are discussed to illustrate both the scope of the work within the Division and the potential for the use of structural adhesives in the construction of British Rail rolling stock.
