RELIABILITY OF DR ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE DRIVERS ON DUTY
ZUR HANDLUNGSZUVERLASSIGKEIT VON TRIEBFAHRZEUGFUEHRERN DER E-TRAKTION
Over the last 10 years the GDR's transport medical services have been looking at medical problems associated with locomotive driving, and since 1983 the reliability of drivers on duty has been examined with the Railway Institute, the Central Rolling Stock Management Department and a number of selected depots. The results of these studies form an important basis for definition of working conditions for driving crews and for determining preventive measures to be applied in medical supervision of locomotive drivers.
