COMBINING FAMILY AND WORK ROLES. THE IMPORTANCE OF TRANSPORT IN WOMEN'S JOB CHANCES
The interaction of transport factors with women's domestic roles and residential circumstances and the impact of each on their job choices is discussed. The paper points to the difficulties in defining transport deprivation among women of a form amenable to the direct action of transport policy makers. (TRRL)
