A HISTORY OF BUREAU OF RECLAMATION CONSTRUCTION-PART 2
The Bureau of Reclamation and the construction industry worked in partnership to develop water resources in the 17 western states before and during the years 1925 to 1975 which mark the first half century of the Journal of the Construction Division of ASCE. Reclamation project features include pipelines, tunnels, pumping plants, power plants, power system structures, and bridges. Significant examples of these project features and of construction methods used in the 50 yr of Reclamation history since 1925 are described.
