ASPHALT PAVEMENT RECYCLING PRIMER -- FINAL REPORT
This report is intended to familiarize the reader with the different asphalt pavement recycling techniques. Asphalt pavement rehabilitation using recycling techniques has proven itself to have many applications and to be a cost-effectve method to be considered when planning a rehabilitation project. The report discusses three types of asphalt pavement recycling techniques: surface recycling, cold-mix recycling, and hot-mix recycling. A brief description of each technique is given with the advantages and disadvantages associated with them. Some of the incentives for using pavement recycling are discussed and a list of available guide specifications and a standard practice manual is given. (Author)
