HIGHWAY INFRASTRUCTURE: OPPORTUNITIES FOR INNOVATION

The papers of this conference were presented at 6 sessions. The initial sessions emphasized the challenge facing the highway research community and the later sessions addressed the resources available to meet the challenge. Representatives from national and state research organizations described research programs and resources as well as participated in panel discussions. Discussion groups addressed specific areas of the highway infrastructure crisis. A subject index and an author index are included.
