THE IMPORTANCE OF DIFFERENT FEATURES OF A BUS SERVICE. AN EXPLORATORY STUDY IN AN OXFORD SUBURB WHICH HAS EXPERIENCED SERVICE CUTBACKS
This report forms part of the first phase of a TRRL sponsored study into the consequences of differences in bus service levels, in which the influence of bus frequency and access to bus stop on travel behaviour and life styles are examined using a variety of data sources. Results are presented from an exploratory survey of bus use in one area of Oxford, based on a series of individual and household in-depth interviews.
