NEW CONCEPTS IN FLOATING BREAKWATER DESIGN
Several different types of floating breakwaters are presented and described. The concept of each design is explained, and the components of each system are described, as are the materials which make up their construction. Advantages of each type of breakwater are also given, and their construction, arrangement, testing results and principle of operation are included in the article.
