THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT OF LORRY DRIVERS
ARBETSMILJOEFOERHAALLANDEN VID TRANSPORTER MED LASTBIL. FORSKNINGSLAEGE OCH FOU-BEHOV
The aim of the study was to investigate the need for research and development in the area of lorry drivers and their working environment. It was suggested that the drivers' movement patterns at loading and unloading should be video recorded and that the working environment should be closely studied at some loading/unloading spaces. A seminar was arranged in order to discuss the problems. The opinions of the participants are reported. Summaries of active and closed Swedish research projects concerning lorry drivers and their working environment are included in the study. (TRRL)
