Corrosion protection of aluminum with dichromate surface conversion and sodium chromate inhibitor incorporated in an organic coating is studied in a sulfate and chloride containing solution at pH 3, 6.4, and 10. Potentiodynamic anode polarization, corrosion current measurements on aluminum-steel galvanic couple and long term exposure of variously treated aluminum coupons are the investigative techniques used. /Author/
