A system for ship lofting and structural parts definition developed by Resources Applications, Design & Controls, Inc, (RADCO), of Culver City, Calif, is specially suitable for small- and medium-sized shipyards and, according to RADCO, it permits the practical shipbuilder to take advantage of the latest technology with little or no investment in software and equipment and with no change in his existing methods of fabrication. A brief description of the individual computer programs which made up the RADCO system is given. All programs are written in ordinary FORTRAN and are suitable for almost any computer having 30K word storage.
