THIS PLANT IS HIGHLY AUTOMATED AND SPECIAL EQUIPMENT WAS INSTALLED AND OTHER MEASURES WERE TAKEN TO REDUCE OR ELIMINATE THE PROBLEMS OF DUST AND NOISE. ALL DUST-EMITTING MACHINES ARE CONNECTED TO CENTRAL DUST REMOVAL EQUIPMENT WITH AN AUTOMATIC FILTER DEVICE WITH A CAPACITY OF 34 000 CUBIC METRES PER HOUR. A WATER SPRINKLER SYSTEM IS ALSO USED TO REDUCE THE DUST EMITTANCE BY THE AGGREGATE HANDLING. THE CONVEYORS ARE EQUIPPED WITH PROTECTIVE TUNNELS. THE CRUSHERS AND THE SCREENS ARE INSTALLED IN SOUND-PROOFING BUILDINGS AND THE AGGREGATE DEPOSITS SERVE AS NOISE PROTECTING WALLS.
