RESIDENTIAL LOCATION MODEL INCORPORATING SATIALLY VARYING LEVELS OF INFORMATION

This paper describes a residential location model that has been developed to overcome a problem frequently met in such work -- that of flows across the study area boundary. Only limited information is required for the external zones since the interactions with the internal zones are modeled for them. Problems associated with using the model are discussed and a simple numerical example is used to show its method of operation. /Author/
