OPTIMUM PROPELLERS WITH A DUCT OF FINITE LENGTH
The efficiency of the optimum ducted screw propeller is calculated as a function of the clearance between the blades and the shroud and of the hub diameter. The bound vorticity on the blades and on the duct is discussed. Numerical results are given.
