ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS OF AIRPORT SYSTEM PLANNING

Herein are investigated certain fundamental criteria which can be measured concretely and expressed objectively, thereby, serving society more effectively by making judgments as to the alternatives involved in this phase of community planning. The environmental aspects described are local air travel market characteristics and distribution, affect of airport accessibility on the realization of air travel potential, air space utilization and control and present and planned land use.
