CIVIL AVIATION RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Results of the committee's study have been divided into two major sections. The first, presents views on the increasingly important role of civil aviation in the national transportation system. The need for establishment of goals and the relationship of civil aviation to the national transportation system are discussed. The second section considers various factors affecting the growth of civil aviation, which are categorized to some extent in the technical areas covered by the other ASED committees.
