DUCTED PROPELLER INSTALLATION

This report summarizes the activities and result of research project 5505 "Ducted Propeller Installation on a 130 000 tdw Tanker" within the Swedish Ship Research Foundation. The background for the project is described, calculations, tests and construction of the duct is outlined and main results from trials and in service are given. A detailed description of the various activities and results are given in a number of preliminary reports listed at the end of this report and included in the library of SSF.
